These two are celebrating their 1 year anniversary today so we’re flashing back to their gorgeous Lewis Ginter Botanical Garden wedding from last May! These two get serious style points- everything from Lauren’s chic lace and tulle dress, to Byron’s blue suit and subtle patterned shirt and socks, to the perfectly mismatched groomsmen and bridesmaids attire. Although none of this was a surprise because they’re both super creative and have amazing taste. Lauren and her entourage got ready at her parents house while Byron and his boys hung out at the Quirk Hotel. They both helped design the Quirk (him- architecture, her- interior design) so this was the perfect spot for them to start and end the day! Their ceremony and reception took place at Lewis Ginter at the Bloemendaal House, where the garden was perfectly in bloom. Their personalized vows set the tone for the evening and their reception style and laid back celebration afterwards was icing on the cake. The graphic designer in me fell in love with all of their printed materials- the invitations, guest welcome bags, menu cards, and especially their place cards- all of which were designed by Lauren and Byron. Everything about their day was thoughtful and reflective of who they are as a couple, which is exactly how it should be. So Happy Anniversary to Lauren and Byron! Hope you guys have had a great weekend celebrating!
